PONY'TUDE Approved: Roeckl Chester Gloves

It's a glove RAINBOW!

Roeckl gloves are all over the place in hunter/jumper land, and it's easy to see why. They are really, really nice gloves.

I was fortunate enough to receive not one, but two pairs of Roeckl Chester gloves for Christmas; one from my mom, and one from my husband. At the rate I go through gloves, I'm keeping both of them!

I have owned Roeckl gloves in the past, and I love them. I've had a pair of leather show gloves, and a pair of nylon schooling gloves, and both lasted years before they finally bit the dust.

The Chesters, though, are my absolute favorite! They are made out of a magical sueded/rubberized synthetic material that has the perfect amount of grip. AND because they're synthetic, they can be washed! There is no need to have gloves that can stand up on their own because of the amount of sweat and grime embedded in them. They are appropriate for both schooling and show, and come in a rainbow of colors.

The best part about the Roeckl Chester gloves, however, is the fit. I have really long, skinny fingers, and most gloves that are narrow enough to fit across my palm are way too short in the fingers.

THESE GLOVES FIT. I also love the length of the cuff, and they are snug and thin enough that you can easily adjust a bridle with them on. The only drawback is the price. You'll be spending about $50 on these gloves, no matter where you buy them. However, Roeckls do last, and in my opinion they are a worthy splurge. I have probably shredded enough $20 crochet gloves to make the Chesters cheaper in the long run! These gloves are absolutely 100% PONY'TUDE Approved!

  1. As someone with long skinny fingers, I am definitely going to look into these now. You know, when I am not broke. Ha!

    1. Seriously save up your pennies and get a pair of Roeckls! They are by far the best-fitting gloves ever for people with "piano fingers". What size are you? I'll keep my eye out for any on sale by me. :)
