A List Of Things That Are Not Okay
1. This.
2. Having to do the barn when it is -8 outside.
3. When your dog refuses to go into the backyard and poop like a normal dog because it is -8.
4. When the water in the heated water tubs is frozen, because it's -8.
5. When you can't clean out half your pony's shed, because everything is frozen to the ground, because apparently urine will freeze when it's -8.
6. Not being able to feel your face, because it's -8.
7. -8.
8. Sawdust freezing into clumps that are nearly indistinguishable from poop, making stall cleaning ten times more tedious. Again, this is due to the temperature of -8.
9. Having issues starting your car, because it's -8.
I would like to take a moment to thank the inventors of Polarfleece and UnderArmour. Without these enterprising individuals, I may not have survived this morning.

I am such a hot house flower I'm literally on my deathbed reading this list.
ReplyDeleteIt will be ok! Just walk outside and remember that you live in a warm, happy place and you are far, far away from the frigid wasteland that is Pennsylvania in winter.

ReplyDeleteHey, frozen poop balls (as long as they are not frozen to the floor) are awesome! The stalls are so much cleaned when they freeze so fast the horses don't have time to break them into a million tiny pieces.

ReplyDeleteStory of my life. Any kind of weather that isn't sunny and 70-80 with a gentle breeze somehow makes my dog incapable of peeing outside.
