Tomorrow is my 3 year wedding anniversary!

I'd like to take the opportunity to highlight how awesome my husband is.

Michael, AKA McLain Ward

This guy. He's pretty great.

First of all, he's pretty much the best horse husband in the history of horse husbands anywhere. He really, truly likes horses, he rides, and learns really quickly. He can muck a stall with the best of them, and is such a huge help during feeding and turnout time. He's really, really good at driving a truck and trailer, and acts as my personal photographer and groom at shows.

Michael is my best friend. We like all the same stuff, we like to hang out together, and we like to be totally weird and nerdy together. He's also an awesome "dad" to our furry kids!

But most importantly, Michael puts up with me. I know I'm not always the easiest person to live with, and I know that some things I do drive him totally nuts! (Sorry for making weird noises and grinding my teeth in my sleep... and not caring about dog hair in the corners of the house... and leaving my clothes all over the floor...) But despite all that, he loves me unconditionally and never ever makes me feel like I need to be someone else. He embraces my weirdness, supports my dreams, and gives really good hugs. Happy Anniversary, Michael, and here's to many more!!
