PONY'TUDE Approved: Hunt Club Belts

Some people are super into accessories. Belts, gloves, watches, jewelry, the whole shebang.

I am not like those people.

When it comes to belts, I tend towards having a handful of neutral-colored, classically styled belts that pretty much go with everything. I don't do wild colors or have a belt for every outfit, so my belt collection tends to be pretty tame. I own a black leather belt, a brown leather belt, and a grey Mango Bay belt that for a long time, fulfilled all of my belt-wearing needs.

But when Jenn, Olivia, and Becky bought belts from Hunt Club and started raving about them, I was intrigued!

The first thing that got me interested in Hunt Club belts was the price point. At just over $30 each, these belts are affordable for the average horse-poor woman. I also really loved they way they look - the leather accents, subtle silver logo and buckle, and tightly woven body screamed "classy"!

And, of course, I couldn't ignore the great things my friends had to say about them. Everyone who bought a belt from Hunt Club couldn't stop talking about the quality of the product, the great customer service, and how much they loved the belts. After I saw Becky's (adorable, hot pink) belt in person, I put a Hunt Club belt on my list.

I received a belt in the "Long Spot" pattern for Christmas, and once I started wearing it I was fully on board the Hunt Club train.

The material is different than anything I've ever seen before - a tight weave of elastic cord with incredible stretch and shape retention. The belts are "one size fits all", which I was skeptical about at first, but the unique material makes them an accessory that can truly be worn by people of various sizes. Even though the belt stretches, it doesn't LOOK stretchy, which gives it a high-quality appearance. The stretch factor also makes it extremely comfortable while still doing its job of holding up my pants.

I wear my Hunt Club belt on an almost daily basis with both low- and mid-rise jeans and breeches, and the black and brown pattern goes with virtually everything! I find myself reaching for this belt whenever I need one, and bypassing my old favorites for this unique piece. Even though I usually don't get excited about accessories, I'm looking forward to purchasing another Hunt Club belt in navy to match even more pieces of my riding wardrobe!

If you're looking for a belt with a classic look that will work with both your riding and "real person" wardrobe, I would highly recommend Hunt Club! They also carry a ton of really cute scarves and other accessories, and I've so far had a great experience with their customer service. Hunt Club belts are definitely 100% PONY'TUDE Approved!

  1. I got one last summer from the Indy Equestrian at a horse show and I love mine! I got the navy with white. Except it's just a little too big, I wish it came in sizes.

    1. Jen, just an FYI...next time you order from HC, you can email them ahead of time and ask for a slightly shorter length. They will accommodate custom requests! :)

  4. I've never tried these, but I will fully admit I LOVE C4 belts and they're always having a sale of some sort. I wear them even with jeans and shorts in addition to my breeches. I may have to try Hunt Belts now!

  5. I haven't tried the hunt club belts bc trying to get the belt thing through woven material kills me.., are there holes set in the fabric or do you just push through randomly?

    1. You just push the tongue through wherever, but it's never a struggle! Definitely the easiest belt of this type to fasten.
