22 years ago today, a chestnut pony colt was born somewhere in Germany. Through events and workings that will forever be a mystery to me, somehow he and I ended up together, and are celebrating his 22nd year on the earth today!

In a world where "newer is better," Dino's life is such a powerful reminder of the beauty and richness that come with age, experience, and time. Over the past near-decade of life with Dino, he has developed and deepened into a powerful, educated athlete, our partnership has only gotten better with time, and he's matured me in a lot of ways, too.

Happy Birthday, Dino! Today we raise a glass to the one, the only, Wonder Pony. Here's to many more years of pony'tude.
