Once Upon A Time...
On a dark and stormy night... something supremely spooky was going on....
Okay, so it wasn't so much stormy, but definitely dark. Really dark. And that was mostly because we had no electricity at the barn tonight. And the only thing spooky happening was there being SNOW.
On the ground.
On Halloween.
In case you haven't figured it out, that's AT LEAST a full month before any sort of frozen precipitation should be descending from the heavens. That is wrong in so many ways I can't even find words to tell you how wrong it is.
Is it possible to boycott winter? If so, I'm all over it this year.
In any case, I bravely braved the darkness and the cold and the snow (bah!) and the goblins and ghouls and bats and werewolves and giant radioactive spiders and maybe a vampire or two to give Dino some love, because grooming or riding or lunging was just not going to happen in the pitch darkness. So Captain Destructo got some spooky snuggles instead.
Happy Halloween everyone! Stay safe!
