Jamberry Nail Wraps 1 - Nail Polish 0
Well, folks, the verdict is in and Jamberry Nail Wraps have solidly whooped regular nail polish in the durability department:
After 11 days of wear, the nail polish fingers look pretty crappy and the nail wraps look pretty perfect. They've been through nearly 2 weeks of stall cleaning, bucket scrubbing, pony grooming, and riding. There's a little rip in the very tip of each wrap - a mane-pulling related incident - but honestly it's so small you can't even notice, and it's definitely not something that would make me want to take the wrap off before, say, a client meeting or other occasion that would require me to not look like a slob.
And I wasn't a slouch with the regular polish, either! I painstakingly applied base and top coat, and 2 coats of color. It just doesn't stand a chance at the barn.
Jamberry Nail Wraps are 100% PONY'TUDE Approved! I found them to be time-saving (no dry time, and fewer re-applications are needed), durable (clearly.), and attractive. For equestrians, they are a fantastic option for those of us who want to feel a little pretty at the barn without having to worry about chipping nail polish. Plus, at $15 per set (which will yield 2 manis and 2 pedis) they are a really affordable splurge. The only trouble is picking out your favorite color!

Very cool. I gave up on putting nail polish on anything but my toes because it never lasts. Maybe I will try these.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I can't answer this since I've never had issues with breaking/splitting nails!
